At MIDIOR, our focus is on industries where the products often have "fuzzy edges." What this means to us is that we specialize in products that are complex and where it is often hard to determine where a product starts and stops - either because it is technology-heavy, has a significant service component or both. What this means to everyone else is that you will find us supporting financial services firms, benefits administrators, multi-employer & public funds, industrial products and manufacturing firms and all manner of technology companies.

We work with clients in the capital markets, banking and insurance sectors. Our eye is always focused on how to deliver maximum value from products and platforms and the teams that support them. Managing the mission critical platforms and systems that keep a financial services firm running is a very different ballgame than investing "risk capital" in new ideas and concepts. The tension between these two world views is apparent every day - we are well known for our work on both sides.

We support Benefits Administrators along with Taft-Hartley and Public Sector Funds on their quest to modernize platforms and improve member service. We work hand-in-hand with business and IT teams to overhaul existing systems,  invest in new ones, manage implementations, convert the data, and deploy new member service models including mobile and web applications. 

The dynamics of how technology vendors interact with customers and what customers perceive as products are undergoing dramatic and rapid changes. With roots in the high technology sector and a wealth of experience assisting technology firms, we help our clients to deliver innovative products and services that meet today’s market needs and can adapt to whatever the future holds.

We help clients in this sector identify growth opportunities, reduce cycle time for new products and increase profitability. We assess existing product development processes against today’s needs, adjust the product management approach and/or redesign or fine-tune the product organization model. We also analyze markets, generate customer insight and assess the competitive landscape to support decisions about what to build and who to target.
