Data Extraction & Conversion

The biggest task in a systems upgrade is often related to the underlying data. MIDIOR will take responsibility for managing the conversion of legacy system data throughout the life cycle of a migration to a new technology platform. We apply systems engineering concepts to all of our data conversion efforts, “bagging and tagging” data in a structured and logical way to make it easy to remediate and report on. We will extract your data, stage it for review and reporting, map it to the target system, and convert it when your system is ready to go live.

Data Forensics & Remediation

Many times data needs to be cleaned up or transformed before it is loaded into a new system – the old adage “garbage in, garbage out” applies here and we do everything in our power to avoid that situation. We audit legacy data and identify areas where clean-up is practical or important (or both). We then support business and IT teams with the tedious forensics, remediation, and transformation work needed to make the data as clean and complete as possible prior to loading into the new system.
