Michael Goldberger Elected President of MIT Club of Boston

Cambridge, MA -- July 1, 2011 – MIDIOR Consulting announced today that Michael Goldberger, Partner and Co-Founder of the firm was elected as President of the MIT Club of Boston. The MIT Club of Boston is an independent, volunteer-run, non-profit organization that serves the community of local MIT alumni, staff and parents of current students. The Club’s mission is to provide value and build connections among the members through social activities, educational programs, professional development events and community service programs.

Goldberger has been active in the organization for the past 8 years serving in many roles, most recently as Vice President of Marketing. “The local community of MIT Alums represents a tremendous source of talent, resources and influence that has value for both the Institute and the future of the Boston area. The challenge/opportunity for the Club of Boston is to tap into this large, diverse community with programs that serve MIT’s mission and connect with issues that are important to our local area”, said Goldberger.

The Club also sponsors the MIT Club of Boston K12 initiative that seeks to engage the local population of over 17,000 MIT Alumni as a support system for a variety of K-12 science, technology, engineering and math programs. The ultimate goal is to shape the future by providing connections across the MIT community, promoting recognition of teacher and student achievements, and building a model that can be duplicated across the network of MIT Alumni around the world.
